Electrical Component Installation Instructions

Step 1 — Liquid Level Sensor

  • Grab the Liquid Level Sensor. Remove the hex nut, leaving the O-Ring on the sensor
  • Thread the wire of the Liquid Level Sensor through the hole in the tank, leaving the black part of the sensor and the o-ring inside of the tank.
  • Tighten the hex nut on the outside of the tank. Hand tighten firmly until secure.

Step 2 - Setting up the Base Box

  • Gently place the tank inside of the Base Box, sliding it towards the front face of the Base Box.
  • Grab the Power Supply. Thread the barrel connector through the large hole in the Base Box and set aside the power brick outside of the Base Box.
  • Grab the ILCU Cage and (4) Threaded Couplings from the Irrigation Kit. Screw the Threaded Couplings into the threaded holes on the ILCU Cage. Rest the ILCU Cage at an angle on the top of the tank.
  • Grab the ILCU. Place the ILCU in between the slots on the right side of the ILCU Cage.
  • Connect the barrel connector from the power supply to the ILCU. Ensure the power supply is not plugged in to power.
  • Connect the LED Indicator connector to the corresponding connector on the ILCU.
  • Connect the Liquid Level Sensor connector to the ILCU.

Step 3 — Installing the LED Light Bars

  • Grab the LED Light Bar with the wire coming out of the left side. Slide the magnetic connectors toward the center of the bar, about 5" from the outside edges.
  • Remove the magnetic cover from the top most bar on the frame. Place the LED Light Bar inside the channel. It should sit flush.
  • Thread the wires from the LED Light Bar through the channel in the frame. Replace the magnetic cover.
  • Grab the LED Light Bar with the wire coming out of the right side.
  • Remove the magnetic cover from the 2nd top most bar on the frame. Place the LED Light Bar inside the channel. It should sit flush.
  • Thread the wire through the channel in the frame, then replace the magnetic cover.
  • Grab one of the LED Light Bars with the wire coming out of the center of the end cap. Thread the wire through the small opening in the cross bar of the frame beneath the 3rd bracket from the top. Pull the wire taught and attach the LED Light Bar to the frame. Then, thread the wires through the back of the frame.
  • Repeat this step for the last bar on the bottom most bracket.
  • Grab a lever wire nut. Starting from the bottom of the back of the frame, connect the two ends to the shortest wire of the LED Wire Harness to the wires from the lowest LED Light Bar. Make sure the colors of the wires match on each point of connection.
  • Working from the bottom, repeat for the remaining three LED Light Bars. If the LED Wire Harness becomes taught, create some slack by pulling it through the back of the Base Box.
  • Once all the wires have been connected, tuck the wires into the channel.

Step 4 — Testing the connection

  • Connect power to the unit.
  • Push the light switch button to test the lights. Ensure all (4) LED Light Bars are working, then turn off the lights. If one of the light bars is not turning on, check the connections in the channel.
