About
For over a decade, Adam Besheer has been at the forefront of biophilic design, reshaping how nature exists within the built environment. His journey began in New York City, where as partner he helped scale one of the city’s most innovative interiorscaping firms, Greenery NYC, transforming sterile corporate spaces into thriving, plant-filled environments. But through years of designing and maintaining large-scale installations, he saw a recurring problem—plants, no matter how well-placed or beautifully arranged, struggled to survive without consistent care.
The challenge wasn’t inspiration—it was upkeep. Traditional plant maintenance relied on human intuition, which often led to inconsistent watering, improper lighting, and gradual decline. Adam realized that for greenery to truly thrive in architecture, it needed more than design—it needed technology.
In 2024, he founded Biotic Instruments with a clear vision: to make growing plants indoors effortless. By blending cutting-edge technology with deep botanical knowledge, he developed tools that bridge the gap between nature and automation. His work isn’t just about keeping plants alive—it’s about changing how we interact with living systems, making green spaces more resilient, intuitive, and seamlessly woven into modern life.
Adam sees the future of buildings not as static structures, but as dynamic, living ecosystems. Through Biotic Instruments, he’s pioneering a new era where architecture and nature don’t just coexist—they thrive together.
